KKK [Slim Case]



Intolerance, ignorance, injustice ('I's that are blind)
EASTWEST slimcased DVDs have no subtitles or extras beyond plot synopsis on the case's back cover. As with all such bargain brands, dubs are "best available source" with quality that varies from only fair to very good.

Note: PARAMOUNT's 1999 videotape is still the most complete version of KLANSMAN. All subsequent releases are edited. This retitled version is purportedly missing two minutes of violence.

Because of its grim and touchy subject, three decades of political correctness virtually guarantee KLANSMAN could never be made today. Its racial slurs, hatred and stereotypes are far too repulsive for modern audiences. The setting is a small Alabama town where whites are a minority who intimidate black citizens with Klan activity and extreme gang violence.
