some really hiLARious moments!!
Story is very consistent with 21st century Vietnamese/Chinese young adults in main-stream America. Thuy & Van are sooo hilarious!! The scene in the karoake room was really funny! Dung's sacrifice scored him a pretty good catch! Xuan has definite potential in future roles!!

Simple Yet FOBulous
Rich Cranor is a very prolific artist and Simply FOBulous is his most ambitious and ernest film to date. As with his previous work, this film blends humor and substance to defuse stereotypes and confront the challenges unique to Asian American cultures. Cranor is to Seattle's International District what Woody Allen is to New York.

Little Budget, Big Heart
For a little indy film it certainly has some kick. It is definitely better written than most of the stuff that comes out of Hollywood. I think that with more money and time it could have been a well received feature film. I would recommend everyone checking it out. It's definitely not perfect, there are some spots that don't quite work but over all it's well thought out and well done. Congrats to the film maker. You have definite put together something new and worthwhile. I can't wait to see your next film.
